About Dentora
Dentora is being built for dental students who need more than a generic chatbot. It combines BDS-focused study modes with retrieval from dental learning material and source metadata.
What makes it different
- Study Chat for exam-relevant explanations.
- MCQ Mode for one-best-answer practice and reasoning.
- Viva Mode for examiner-style oral revision.
- OSCE Mode for structured clinical-station practice.
- PDF Tutor for asking questions from a temporary uploaded PDF.
- Voice Tutor for speaking a dental question, transcribing it, and hearing Dentora's answer aloud.
- Test Mode for structured past-paper MCQs, textbook cross-checking, timed tests, weak-topic review, and a personal readiness index.
- Retrieval-grounded answers with source/page information when relevant evidence is available.
Grounding does not mean infallible
Dentora uses retrieval and verification safeguards to reduce unsupported claims, but AI systems can still misunderstand a source or make mistakes. Source chips show retrieved evidence; students should verify high-stakes facts in the cited material.
Current status
Dentora is in a private beta. A prespecified 60-question technical validation is being prepared across Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, and Operative Dentistry. That validation has not yet been completed, so Dentora should not be described as a validated system.
The goal is curriculum-specific, citation-aware BDS revision — not replacement of textbooks, teachers, or clinical judgment.
